A stream of trucks seemed to be carrying us along I-90 East. This highway is also known as “Indiana Toll Road”. Another very successful name as this route has far too many tolls – cash only – for a highway so far from well maintained. On a recommendation of a friend we stopped by Toledo, a friendly small city at the western end of Lake Erie

Detroit Greenfield Park is a campground next to Ford Lake Park, 35 miles from Detroit. Paddle boats, mini-golf playground, water slides and picnic tables by the lake for peaceful breakfasts. At night, a gentle Vietnam veteran who was working with his wife at the Park during summers…

The Henry Ford Museum and The Ford Rouge Factory. From an elevated walkway we saw the final assembly line of the Ford F-150 pick-up truck – Ford’s first moving assembly line was in 1913- where the perfectly synchronized people, robots and moving stage perform daily a repeated choreography. John Jammin Collins, DJ and producer at Underground Resistance, welcomed us at Submerge Recording Studio. This building just down the street from Motown Museum…
